VATSIM-UK will be attending the European Computer Flight Simulation Show 2004 at the Renewal Conference Centre, Solihull, Birmingham on Saturday 27th November 2004. http://www.fs-show.com They have attended this event now for a number of years and will be providing Air Traffic Control Services throughout the day on a number of UK control positions between 1000z and 1700z.

Birmingham Airport (EGBB) is the closest real world airport to the venue and it is planned that EGBB will be controlled from the show throughout the day with a number of other aiports across the country being manned. TMA and high level sectors are also planned to be covered. They also plan to have a number of demonstrations during the day in the ease of use and simplicity of Squawkbox 3 with the kind permission of Joel DeYoung.

VATSIM-UK staff and members will be there to help, advise and guide members new and old and to promote greater participation in VATSIM either as pilots or controllers.

VATSIM-UK will also be encouraging members who cannot attend the show to log on to control and join in the experience. This has potential to be one of the best staffed ATC days in VATSIM-UK's 2004 calendar to date. Pilots are encouraged to come and fly UK airspace throughout the day and take advantage of the excellent service VATSIM-UK provides.

They look forward to providing the best Air Traffic Control and invite you all to join us either at the show or online.

Kind regards,
