The Summer is Here Fly-in

With the official summer season starting in a few weeks, and the heat already at our doors, the HvACC is inviting you for a refreshing break at the beautiful Greek islands. So whether you want to see what people always talk about, remember your last vacation here, or just check out the flight you are going to be doing in real-life soon, join us in this magestic event.

Be advised though, before you can enjoy the beaches and the food, you are going to have to land. Some of these approaches are among the most demanding in Europe or even the whole World like the infamous ones into Samos (LGSM). So keep your eyes off the girls & guys on the beach and on your instruments.


Our goal is to simulate the high air traffic witnessed throughout the Greek
Isles during the summer months with the busy regular schedules and the countless charter flights. In doing this we plan to staff some of the most popular destinations throughout the islands.

Parking spots are limited. Some runways can accommodate for jumbo-jets others can only take small turbo-props. So whether you fly a Cat. A Cessna or a Cat. D 747, there is an airport available and ready to make your life exciting.
If again you are one that requires 11,000 ft runways and multiple ILS approaches, Eleutherios Venizelos Athens International (LGAV) airport will be staffed for you*.

The HvACC is known for the professional level of the Air Traffic Control
services it provides, and for its gigantic events. Pilots that have visited
us during a fly-in before know what we are talking about. Newcomers, expect to be pleasantly surprised.
