The summer is getting hot, the last asparagus need to be shipped, and the
first strawberries are showing up. A lot of good reasons to visit the
Frankfurt region these times. And now we add one more: The Frankfurt EDFF
FIR "Hot Summer" Regional FlyIn, starting friday, june 20th at 1800Z.

We made great efforts to staff a bunch of interesting airports in our FIR
for this evening, from small VFR fields near Frankfurt to the main airport
itself. Not less than 6 field will be fully ready to await your flight, and
15 eager SAG controllers are ready to show off their skills to you at
Mannheim, Mainz, Nuernberg, Stuttgart, Hahn und Frankfurt. Here is the

To help you in preparing your flight we´ve set up a web page especially for
this event with all necessary links to charts, flightplans and airport
infos. We very much appriciate if you use our prepared flightplans, as
traffic will be high and non-conformal flightplans will most likely be
re-routed to standard routings. And (as a last reminder) be sure to check
your Roger Wilco is set to "Slow Modem" for the "Internet Conntection
Speed".

So, as everything is prepared, the only thing we need now is your
participation. Plan your flights from and to the EDFF FIR on June 20, 2003
and enjoy a great online event with us!
