Next Friday, (6 June) we are going to have another training
session on a specially developed slot planing tool. Times are at each case
1800-2000 UTC.


What is th programm for

For those whe are interested in what the programm is doing, I wrote the following
line. If you are not interested in this, continue with "what we need".

Die Idee des Tools ist es, die Slotplanung bei Outboundtraffic zu vereinfachen
bzw. gar erst zu ermöglichen.

The tool is supposed to be used for big evens, where a slot planing has been
made in advance. The planned flight will be loaded into a database befor
the event. Nevertheless it is also possible to load new flight in the database
during the event.

The hole programm is divided in three parts. I'd like to introduce them
quickly.

Dispatch Client
--------------------
The Dispacht Controller is responsible to arrange Slot in the best efficient
way.
This Controller can alway see the status of each flight on the ground.


Delivery Client
-------------------
Delivery has all the flights that need a clearance on his screen. These flight
are in the datavase mentioned above. Delivery can also input further flight
to the database. As soon as a clearance is provided, Delivery sets status
"clearance received". Now, it's Aprons turn.

Apron Client
---------------
Like Delivery, Apron gives different states. This includes for example "Startup
approved" or "taxiin approved".


What we need
--------------------
As it is a tool that helps us manag outbound traffic, we should have a lot
of outbounds from Zurich. We are sorry in advance for eventual short delays
on ground.
