Frankfurt Overload 2008 - The Legend Continues
Once again a year has passed. It is time for a new edition of an event in which aviators,
pilots and controllers have to test their limits. Six years ago we started with eight controllers.
Last year we already had more than 20 controllers and over 500 pilots.
This year, we have 3 additional controllers working and coordinating in the background,
in order to guarantee a smooth traffic flow all over the evening in the air, during your approach, and on the ground.
Overall, there will be more than 20 controllers - live from our control center in Gelnhausen or in front of
their home computers - to manage the magnitude of arriving and departing aircraft, safely into or out of Frankfurt.

Saturday, the 29th of November
from 1700z to 2200z
During these five hours, our aim is to run Frankfurt at its capacity limit! All real life procedures
will be in use, to offer you a real life feeling in our virtual world.

Since we are expecting a great amount of pilots , we kindly ask you to be familiar with the these procedures and
to follow the controller's instructions at any time. So please read all information carefully.
