Hello pilots,
VACC-SAG and VACC CZ invite all pilots to join us on saturday evening, 25th of March, for a new incarnation of the ever-so-popular "SAG Triangle" event. This time, the triangle will be made of Vienna, Nuremburg and Prague.
But what exactly is a triangle event???
During the city triangle event three cities will be flown to successively, with the order of the cities being entirely at the pilot´s discretion. The cities are not more than approximately 40 (airborne) minutes apart from each other. In cooperation with the members of the Czech VACC the cities of Vienna, Nuremburg and Prague will take part in this edition of the city triangle event.
Therefore the airports LOWW, EDDN and LKPR will be fully staffed from 1900 to 2300 local (1800-2200 UTC). Of course the respective centers will be completely staffed as well in order to give participating pilots full ATC coverage for the entirety of the event.
I want to participate!!! What is needed to join?
You should use a correct flightplan, and have the charts for the airports at hand. The european airspaces are very crowded, and it will get quite busy during the event. Better be well prepared:
